Dr. Robert Austin, Dr. Matthew Pray, and our dental team, love being active members of Anderson, SC and the surrounding communities. Both doctors are well loved in the area because of their compassion and dedication to community service. Drs. Austin and Pray have helped a lot of people achieve and maintain good oral health. Many patients are now smiling with renewed confidence and with a healthy set of teeth.
In 1991, Dr. Austin started the dental clinic at the Anderson Free Clinic, offering free dental services to those in need. This organization offers medical and dental care to less fortunate citizens who want to continue taking care of their health but don’t have health insurance or cannot afford to pay for essential care. Dr. Austin serves on the board of the free clinic, while Dr. Pray is a regular volunteer. Both doctors help raise money for, and awareness of, this free organization all throughout the community. Their exemplary work is greatly recognized, admired, and highly appreciated by the community, most especially by those who find themselves lacking the financial resources to receive professional care.
We, at the practice of Drs. Austin and Pray, take pride in the fact that our doctors give time to care for those looking for help in Anderson, SC. Whether the doctors are participating in the annual “Walk with the Docs” fundraiser, racing cardboard boats for the free clinic, or starting a new “Run with the Nurses” fundraising event, you can always see Drs. Austin and Pray, and our staff, putting on bright smiles for everyone in the community. Dental care is not only about providing excellence and expertise, but also compassion and care to those who need it the most.
